Decided to call Nana.. We met in orc and started our Tai Tai day hehee..

Went to Goodwood Park Hotel (L'espresso) for high tea.. $ is $42++ but the buffet was sumptious!!! Don't mind spending a bit more for good food...

Went shopping again and bought X'mas gifts and blouse..

Food were great and service's excellent too.

My last day in RH 6th August 2008

Time flies, its been nearly 2 years. In these 2 years, I'm very fortunate to have met the group of friends there. In our department, we have very good and fatherly surgeons.. Dear drs, thank you for all your advices you had given to me. p.s: I hope your tinnitus will go away hahaaa...

Things I will miss:
01. When I reach the dept, Anisah and Irene will be there, smiling: 'Good morning! Wah today coffee bean again ah?'
02. When our 9am patient comes, automatically I will dial Dr Aw's mobile:'Dr Aw, your patient is here.' Replied by him:'Ok, give me 5 min, thanks.'
03. Or when I forgot he's operating: 'Eh I'm operating lah..'
04. When 9.30am patient comes:'Dr Lee, your patient is here.' Replied by him:'Ok, thanks.'
05. Dr Aw will come out of his room:'Shuting, do an audio for this patient.'
06. Dr Lee w:'Ok.. (pause) Ms XXX is for audio, tymp and scope.'ill call us
07. When recieved a medical report request, must fax the company a cheque request.
08. When Ziana was no around.. My head will be big... CASHIER!!!! Arggghhh
09. When its 12noon, Anisah will say:'Ok, you pretend I'm gone for break.'
10. During lunch:'HH want starbucks?' (Hazelnut latte)
11. Dr Aw's action pack.
12. Dr Lee's expression when equipments went out of order.
13. MRO's call to send tube to them.

15. People chasing after us for medical reports.
16. Sweet voices (internal calls).

18. Slotting in scans appointments for patients- by stressing radiology to give me a slot.
19. Trying all ways to trace casenotes from a super duper busy centre.
20. Scolding GP staff (once in a blue moon lah..) for making wrong specialist appointment which caused a lot of inconvenience to patients. (some patients purposely took AL to see a dr.)

Things people will miss:
My voice.. hahaha too noisy lah...

My HK trip

So looking forward to our next HK trip in august. This time we are planning for a day tour to Macau for sightseeing.. Then for the rest of the trip will be shopping eating shopping eating hahahahaaa. Missed Mongkok's smelly toufu!!! Ah and also to visit Heroic Rendezvous shop heheee.. Really can't wait for it!

3 more weeks go... Can't bear to leave though.. Looking forward to the new challenges in the new env. Things might not be as merry as pple think.. Dealing with students needs patience and assertiveness..
Thinking of what to buy for my colleagues on my last day, so scared that i might end up crying...

"Eh, I heard you'd resigned." People had been asking me is Q since I submitted my resignation. Well, felt so sad whenever people ask me this Q leh.
I admit that I will miss this place as people and env are good here, I felt so happy working in RH. However, when chance comes, I really need to go. I've got to accept new challenges and move on. I will definately miss my boss, my colleagues and frds here.
I'm so scared that I will cry on my last day! Oh no..

ICE-CREAM TREAT IN ESKIMO

Went to ESKIMO (in sin ming road) on sat, saw the note which I wrote 1 year ago, pasted onto the board.. Took a pic of it as a memory :)

They seemed to have new flavour- Lychee (1st scoop onthe right).. Its a kind of sorbet, though dear dear doesn't like it, but to me, the taste was good.

Bad lunch experience

Brought a Godiva drink to a 'Bubble tea' cafe for lunch yersterday. After serving us, the waitress told us to remember to clear away the 'outside drink' before we leave. Was wondering, is this the service standard we deserved? We had lunch in their cafe and its only 1 drink we brought in. My dear dear even order another drink for himself in the cafe. why can't they throw it for us?

By the way, the cafe is located in Toa Payoh central.

Aunt's Birthday Present

Went to LV boutique to buy aunt a birthday present. Specially woke up early and rush to Takashimaya with mum, hoping to avoid the Q. Least expected, there was a crowd there at 1130hrs already! Though Q was short, but the boutique was filled with people!!

The salesperson there were so bz with the customers that we waited for more than 20mins to be served. Finally, after browsing over few items, we bought the monogram passport holder. I knew that aunt always wanted it, and I knew that this was a perfect present for her. Though the present was costly, but after dividing among 3 of us (Mum, dear and I), its still quite alright. Most importantly, she must like it.

When we passed the present to aunt, she was so touched.. We were glad that she likes the present.

Was chatting with my boss today after a hactic morning. Somehow the topic of 'to go or not to go' and 'why pple go' was raised, he encourages that. But, its more of missing them. Boss have a 'I-don't-bothered' look, but hez the best boss I ever had. Generous, have a heart of gold and he do cares for me. Mrs boss is a friendly lady, soft spoken and did tried her best to make me feel comfortable when talking to her.

I'm still considering. And hope I won't regret on the decision I'm going to make.

Dinner In Town restaurant- Fullerton Hotel

Went to TOWN RESTAURANT with dear dear yesterday evening for dinner. I should say that their food and services are excellent. All staff were polite and dear dear even saw a waiter offered to help a lady who was holding on 2 dishes, while trying to walk down the stairs. Dear dear also commented that the pastry were super delicious!
Dear dear seldom give good feedback one leh... so glad that dear dear likes the place.. heheee.. so ting ting can go often liao hahaaaa...

People, I highly recommend TOWN RESTAURANT to you all.. Prices are reasonable: Buffet dinner S$48++ per pax.. Do try it!

Singapore VS Uzbekistan in Kallang stadium 2nd June 2008

1930hrs: Went to Q for the tickets, but there were a huge crowd. After Q-ing for 45mins (first half game gone), then we saw that not all ticket booths were open. Wonder why no one's doing anything on that time? A lot of people actually missed the first-half of the game.
Seeing the Q was not moving, so we decided to leave. We met a guy at the entrance and knew that no one is Q-ing for the grandstand seat, so we proceeded to buy the tickets there. (Normal- $6 Grandstand- $20)

When we enter the stadium, we realized the 'normal' seats were HALF-FULL only! Ridiculous right? Sigh....
